This is mainly a knitting site, but a wee bit of crochet may sneak in now and then. So… Here we go!
To start off, here is a lovely anecdote from Lily (who has generally been anti-crochet until she met amigurumi).
So my dad does this play every year. In this year’s play, he had to give someone a piece of cheese. Don’t ask me why. The 1st time, he had to stick a cough drop up his sock, and it was just disgusting!!!!!!!!!!! So the second time, I made him a piece of cheese. And guess what? I crocheted it. It was kinda weird, but it worked. It I EVER get a digital camera, I will put a pic of it. Anyways, it was three dimensional, and the top of it was triangular. Then the edges went straight down, and there was another triangle. It wans’t anything much, especially because I can’t actually crochet. But, it did the job, I guess… – Lily
