This is an amigurumi, currently possessed by Lily. I made it for Valentine’s Day. Note that it is not:
a. red, pink, or white, even though it was for Valentine’s Day
b. embellished with hearts
c. discernably of any animal species, though the original plan was to make a cat.
This probably tells a lot about me. I think Lily keeps it in her pencil bag at school. I think that it has a name and that it is female, but that is about it.
One of Lily’s friends once said that it looked like a Devil Child, but that theory has since been disaproved.

I think the neverending shawl is getting to me a bit. It’s fun, don’t get me wrong. But still…
Here are some things different about Lily and I when it comes to lace:
1. Lily does. not. rip. things. out.
2. I knit losely.
3. Very very losely.
Here are some things that are the same about Lily and I when it comes to lace:
1. It can drive us insane.
2. Our sanity is threatened by it.
3. We have strange infatuations with plant-y lace patterns
4. We want to finish our shawls!
As you have probably deduced from the last few posts of Lily’s, she’s on the brink of… something scary. Time will tell.
P.S. My shawl is going just fine, thank you, but gets caught on things a lot.
I still can’t figure it out. I don’t want to touch it. It’ll all go cascading, I know it. Do I rip it out? I only have 3 and 1/2 pattern repeats. Okay, maybe 4-ish. Do I even have time to finish it before the end of the school year? I don’t think so. I’m too busy. (Only 4 more baby hats to go!!!) Is it possible that when you’re in *censored*th grade, and you don’t spend as much time knitting as Bronach does, you don’t have time to knit lace shawls? Maybe summer vacation. I’ll wear it on the 1st day of school next year. Good way to start, wrapped in a precious hand knit. Okay people, you have exactly 3 days (72 hrs) to tell me off. After that, I rip it out. All of it. And I am not kidding.

Or, at least tell me what to do. Please guys?! Because I’m totally and completely dead. This will be the ugliest thing anyways, cuz I screwed it up in the beginning. . . AAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!

I was going to have a really cool, all-green-all-the-time type post for St. Patrick’s Day. I really was.
Instead, I knit a pair of fluffy mittens for the Dulaan Project.
I also went half of the day without wearing a speck of green. Shameful.
Aack. I am slowly dying. I can’t stand to look at my lace. I am soo ashamed. I finally found out what this repeat is the repeat of.
This 4th pattern repeat is the pattern of Every-Time-I-Touch-It-There-Is-A-Disaster.
I was in the car. It was next to me. I sat on it. I stood out, and all the stitches fell off. At least 1/2 of them. I couldn’t try to fix it, I would kill it. I can’t look at it. It is hidden in shame.
